The Friends of the University of the Philippines Foundation in America (“Friends of UP” or “FUPFA”) is a non-profit organization incorporated in California in 1982. The U.S. Internal Revenue Service has recognized FUPFA as a public charity organization, as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Donations and contributions to the Friends of UP may be tax-deductible as permitted by law in calculating U.S. income taxes (please consult with your financial or tax advisor).
